Updated

Notification settings determine how an organisation receives operational updates about orders and ticket inventory.

Open Settings → Organisation → Notifications. These preferences are shared by the active organisation rather than stored separately for each member. Members can review them, but only an organisation Admin can make changes.

Configure the channels

Two channels are available:

  • Dashboard adds notifications to the bell in the dashboard.
  • Email sends enabled notifications to the destination shown in the channel setting.

Each channel has a master control. Disabling a channel stops all notification types from using it. When a channel is enabled, the individual preferences determine which events are delivered.

Choose notification types

The Orders group includes:

  • New order when a customer completes checkout.
  • Refund issued when an order is fully or partially refunded.
  • Refund failed when the payment provider reports a failure after submission.
  • Payment disputed when a buyer opens a chargeback.

The Inventory group includes:

  • Event sold out when all public ticket inventory is exhausted.
  • Ticket type sold out when one ticket type reaches zero remaining inventory.
  • Low ticket inventory when an event is approaching capacity.

By default, new orders, refunds, refund failures, payment disputes, and event-sold-out notices use both Dashboard and Email. Ticket-type-sold-out and low-inventory notices use Dashboard only. An Admin can change either channel for every listed type.

Payout status is not currently a configurable notification type. Review Finance → Payouts for verification requirements, balances, processing transfers, and completed payouts.

Review the dashboard inbox

Open the notification bell to review current notifications and their read status. Items can be read or archived so the active view remains focused. When switching organisations, remember that the bell and settings reflect the organisation that is currently active.

Keep time-sensitive refund-failure and dispute notifications enabled on a channel that the responsible team monitors consistently. Review the displayed email destination before relying on email delivery.
