Service fees explained

Tixi Ticket adds a service fee to each paid order. The buyer sees this fee before authorising payment, while the organiser retains the ticket subtotal after discounts and ticket refunds.

There are no subscription, onboarding, or recurring platform fees for organisers. Orders with no payable ticket value do not incur a service fee.

Current calculation

The current standard service fee for a paid order consists of:

• 3.75% of the payable ticket subtotal.
• 1.25 in the event currency for each ticket.
• 0.55 in the event currency for the order.

The payable ticket subtotal is calculated after any coupon discount. Percentage amounts are rounded to the currency's minor unit before the fixed components are added.

For example, one 20.00 ticket without a discount has a service fee of 2.55: 0.75 for the percentage component, 1.25 for the ticket component, and 0.55 for the order component. Checkout presents all figures in the event currency.

Find fee information

At checkout, the buyer sees the ticket subtotal, discount where applicable, service fee, and final total before confirming payment. The information control beside Fees provides the percentage, per-ticket, and per-order breakdown used for that order.

In the organiser dashboard:

• Finance → Transactions reports gross payment volume, fees, refunds, and net revenue for the selected period.
• An individual order shows its ticket total, discount, refunded ticket amount, and organiser revenue.
• Finance → Payouts shows event revenue that is Pending, Available, Processing, Blocked, or Paid.

The event currency selected at creation is used for the order and its fee calculation. The organisation's regional currency is a reporting preference and does not convert the order.

Understand refunds

When ticket revenue is refunded, the affected ticket amount is returned to the buyer and removed from the organiser's event balance. Platform service fees are generally not refunded unless applicable law requires otherwise. Tixi Ticket does not add a separate organiser processing charge for issuing a refund.
