Your ticket will not scan
Each ticket has a unique QR code. The first valid scan records the ticket as used for admission, so keep the code private and share it only with the person who will present it at the entrance.
Prepare the ticket
Open the PDF attached to the original ticket email or use the wallet pass when one is available. Increase the screen brightness and show the complete QR code without cropping, glare, or excessive zoom. A clear screenshot contains the same code, but the original PDF or wallet pass is less likely to be blurred or cut off and reduces the risk of using an outdated image.
If the camera cannot read the QR code, authorised staff can enter the 12-character ticket code printed beneath it in the scanner. Staff should also confirm that the correct event is selected on the device.
Understand the scanner response
The scanner can report that a ticket was admitted, was already scanned, belongs to another event, has been refunded or voided, or is unknown. It can also fail temporarily because of a connection problem or rate limit.
For an already scanned ticket, the app shows the earlier scan time and ticket-holder details. The organiser's staff must resolve any admission question on site. Staff with dashboard access can search the Attendees list by ticket code, ticket-holder name, buyer name, or buyer email; the scanner itself does not provide a name-based order search.
Protect the ticket
Do not publish the QR code or send it through an open group chat. Tixi Ticket does not provide a general transfer or resale marketplace, and a copied, transferred, refunded, voided, or previously used ticket may be refused. Purchasing through the official event checkout is the safest way to obtain a valid ticket.
If the organiser refuses entry and you believe the ticket record is incorrect, retain the ticket email and contact support@tixiticket.com afterwards with the event, order, and non-sensitive ticket details. Do not email the QR code unless support provides a secure reason and method. Admission decisions remain the organiser's responsibility.
