What is this charge from Tixi Ticket?

Updated

A payment completed through Tixi Ticket checkout may appear on a bank or card statement with a descriptor containing Tixi Ticket. Banks and issuers can shorten, capitalise, or format descriptors differently, so the wording may not be identical on every statement.

Match the payment to an order

Compare the date, amount, and currency with recent ticket purchases. The final checkout total is the ticket subtotal, less any coupon or discount, plus the displayed service fee. If the issuer converted the payment into another currency, review the original transaction currency as well as the amount shown on the statement.

Search the inbox, spam, and promotions folders for Your tickets for [event name] and for any payment receipt sent around the transaction date. If the payment method is shared, ask other authorised cardholders whether they purchased tickets. A family member or colleague may have used the payment method while entering a different email address at checkout.

The bank can also confirm whether the entry is a pending authorisation or a completed charge. A pending authorisation may be released automatically if checkout did not result in an order.

Report a payment you do not recognise

If the payment remains unfamiliar, contact support@tixiticket.com. Provide the exact statement descriptor, transaction date, amount, currency, buyer name or email if known, and only the final four digits of the card.

Never send the full card number, security code, PIN, or online-banking credentials. Where reasonably possible, contacting Tixi Ticket first can help identify a legitimate order. This does not limit any right to dispute a payment.

If the card is lost, the payment appears fraudulent, or there is an immediate security concern, contact the issuer without delay and follow its instructions.
